Our Co-EiCs are English degree holders and experienced in the field of editing and beta reading (in professional and non-professional capacities.) For any and all inquiries, please email partiallyshylitmag@gmail.com.
If you have a person on the team in mind, please state that in the email. Otherwise, someone will get back to you with an estimated cost and a detailed explanation of our process.
We do NOT condone plagiarism. We do not offer ghostwriting at this time. All clients must write their own work but we will provide edits and feedback.
Editing
Editing
This involves a thorough reading of the piece with suggestions on spelling, grammar, and structure. If there are goals or requirements in mind for the piece we are happy to keep those in mind while reading. This is mainly for academic papers (within our scope of expertise- ie. English, literature, etc. please send an email if you are unsure.)
Cost: $15-20 generally, depending on page length
Beta Reading
Beta Reading
Giving unbiased, honest feedback on a piece (generally fiction, creative essays, collections, etc.) from the POV of an average reader. If there are specific goals in mind for the piece, we will keep that in mind. This service does not cover grammar and spelling, only feedback on the quality and effectiveness of the piece.
Cost: $10-15 generally, depending on page length
